Overview

The integration of OctoMesh with SAP provides a seamless and efficient way to exchange data between the two systems. Leveraging the SAP NetWeaver SDK, this integration enables calling remote-enabled function modules (RFC) as well as acting as an external RFC server. In addition to general functionality, such as reading tables through SAP Data Services, the integration has been extended with specialized function modules for Production Planning (PP) and Plant Maintenance (PM). This ensures a robust and flexible solution that can be tailored to various business needs, resulting in improved data consistency, operational efficiency, and streamlined workflows.

The functionality is provided through an SAP adapter available in two variants: a Linux-based Docker container and an MSI installer that registers the adapter as a Windows service.
