ScaleWorkloadDto

Namespace: Meshmakers.Octo.Communication.Contracts.DataTransferObjects

Payload for the operator's ScaleWorkloadAsync callback (AB#4917, on-demand adapter lifecycle AB#4914). The operator patches the replica count of the Kubernetes Deployments belonging to the workload's Helm release — no helm upgrade involved, so scaling is fast (~2 s) and does not touch the release history. Deployments are located via the app.kubernetes.io/instance={releaseName} label; resource names are never derived (Application charts may render {release}-{chart}).

public record ScaleWorkloadDto : IEquatable<ScaleWorkloadDto>

Inheritance Object → ScaleWorkloadDto
Implements IEquatable<ScaleWorkloadDto>

Properties

TenantId

Tenant the workload belongs to.

public string TenantId { get; set; }

Property Value

String

DeploymentSiteRtId

Runtime entity id of the deployment site the workload is deployed under. Used for SignalR routing to the operator connection owning the deployment site (same contract as WorkloadUndeployedDto.DeploymentSiteRtId).

public string DeploymentSiteRtId { get; set; }

Property Value

String

WorkloadRtId

Runtime entity id of the workload. The operator derives the Helm release name from it (same derivation as deploy/undeploy) to build the instance-label selector.

public string WorkloadRtId { get; set; }

Property Value

String

WorkloadName

User-facing workload name. Display / event logging only.

public string WorkloadName { get; set; }

Property Value

String

WorkloadType

Discriminator between Adapter and Application.

public WorkloadTypeDto WorkloadType { get; set; }

Property Value

WorkloadTypeDto

Replicas

Desired replica count. The lifecycle feature only uses 0 (hibernate) and 1 (wake), but the wire contract is a plain count so it stays future-proof.

public int Replicas { get; set; }

Property Value

Int32
